Butusov Alexander Pavlovich (born in 1932) - graphic artist, painter, Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1970. A well-known graphic artist and painter in Nizhny Novgorod. Born in the city of Gorky on November 16, 1932. Graduated from the Gorky Art School (1947-1952) with Alexander Kamshilov and Anatoly Ilevsky, the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR (1959-1965). Drew huge movie ads. A high professional culture, the foundations of which were laid by the traditions of the Estonian school of graphics, distinguishes the etchings by A.P. Butusov dedicated to Nizhny Novgorod. He taught at the Gorky Art School (1965-1969). For 15 years Alexander Butusov headed the graphics section of the Nizhny Novgorod Union of Artists. Since 1965 - a constant participant in regional exhibitions.
