Vladimir Arkadievich Khvostov was born on October 28, 1933. He graduated from the Secondary Art School and the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repina (workshop of A.F. Pakhomov's graphics). Member of the Union of Artists. He taught at the Higher Art School. V.I. Mukhina at the departments interior and equipment, as well as ceramics and glass. For 10 years, he led the graphic workshops of the school. Mukhina. He taught graphics: lithography, etching, linocut. He worked in the field of book graphics. Illustrated and designed publications on fiction.
