Novikova Elena Konstantinovna (b. 1958) - graphic artist. Its endless imagination and endless industriousness, subtle elaboration of details amazes. Elena Konstantinovna is an absolutely Petersburg artist, an artist of a cosmopolitan city, a city where a lot of cultures and styles, philosophical views and literary plots mixed up behind harmonious facades in the folds of time.
In 1982, Elena Novikova graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Academy of Arts. 1982-1984 - worked as an architect at the Leningrad State Institute for the design of sanitary equipment plants. From 1984 to 1986 she studied drawing in the drawing class of the faculty of sculpture and studied anatomy in the library of the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repina. Since 1984 she worked as an illustrator in the journal Aurora and Sparkle. 1985 - the first experiments in etching under the influence of the work of A. Kolokoltsev. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1990.
Active participant in graphic biennials, contests and exhibitions. One of the most significant personal exhibitions of the author «Mostrruose bellezze e splendidi mostri» was held in Florence in 2009 in the Il Bisonte Gallery and was accompanied by the publication of an album dedicated to her work.
