Valery Solntsev was born on February 18, 1941 in Leningrad. He studied at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin, at the graphic department. After graduation, he was awarded the qualification of a graphic artist. He worked in autolithography technology. He left many wonderful color works on the theme of the urban landscape.
He died in 1995 in St. Petersburg.
