Ivanov-Bezhetsky Dmitry Gavrilovich

Ivanov (Bezhetsky) Dmitry Gavrilovich (1891-after 1945), artist. In the 1918-24s, he studied at the All-Russian Academy of Arts with Petrov-Vodkin. Thesis «Girl at the Window». His works were written in the tradition of naive primitive art. He was a member of the Kuindzhi Society. Adhered to the so-called left informal wing, was not a member of the Union of Artists and did not support official socialist realism.
