Gendelman Efim Aronovich (1914 - 1982) in 1936 he graduated from the Moscow Polytechnic University. M. I. Kalinin in Moscow, in 1947 - the sculptural faculty of the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin in Leningrad. (thesis - «Sholom - Aleichem», supervisor - A. T. Matveev). He spent the war years in evacuation in Tbilisi, working as a wood designer and artist. From 1952 to 1954 he participated in the restoration of the sculpture of palaces and museums in Pavlovsk and Pushkin.
In 1955, he executed a bas-relief portrait of M.V. Lomonosov for the Technological Institute metro station. The portrait of E. A. Gendelman was performed by M.M. Kharlamov (gypsum, 1956). In 1955 - 1967 worked at the Leningrad Porcelain Factory to create small sculptures. His figures were painted by E. N. Lupanova, K. G. Kosenkova. Performed his works in various materials: cast iron - «Girl on a Haymaking», 1938 - 1939; «Summer», 1962; bronze - «On the expanses of my homeland», 1969; "V. P. Bakulin - locksmith of the Kiev factory», 1969; plaster - «Meeting», 1944 and others.
Participant in exhibitions since 1940, including the International Ceramics Exhibition in Ostend, 1959; Art exhibition of folk-applied and decorative art of the RSFSR, Moscow, 1957; All-Union Art Exhibition, Moscow, 1957; All-Union Art Exhibition of Folk Applied and Decorative Art of the RSFSR, 1958 (awarded with a diploma of the II degree on porcelain sculptures «On Etude» and «On the Beach»); autumn exhibition of works by Leningrad artists, Leningrad, 1956; Exhibition of works by Leningrad artists dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, Leningrad, 1957. Since 1952, was a member of the USSR Union of Artists.
