Groman Dmitry Semenovich

Groman Dmitry Semenovich - nonconformist artist, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born in 1924 in Odessa. He graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. He was a member of the artistic association «New Reality», under the leadership of Elia Belutin. He currently lives and works in Israel.

The participant famous: «Taganskaya exhibition» and the scandalous exhibition in the Manezh in 1962 - «Thirty years of the Moscow Union of Artists» (viewing the anniversary exhibition by the government and party leaders, headed by N.S. Khrushchev, turned into an unprecedented scandal). Dmitry Grohman's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Pushkin Museum of the Kalinin Region, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
