Khudyakov Leonid Vasilyevich (1915-1995) - Soviet painter and teacher, professor at the Ilya Repin Institute of Fine Arts, member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists (until 1992 - the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR). Born September 2, 1915. In 1936-1943. studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Repin Institute of Fine Arts. Graduated from the Institute in the workshop of Professor N. F. Petrov with the title of painting artist. Thesis - the painting "Invaders on our territory". Participant of exhibitions since 1946. He painted thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes.
Among the works created by «V. Lenin and I. Stalin in Razliv» (1950), «On the Volga», «In Cheboksary», «At the pier», «Horses» (all 1954), «Portrait of the People's Artist of the RSFSR B. Ya. Bregvadze»(1960), «Portrait of a Woman» (1971) and others. Since 1947 he taught at the Repin Institute of Fine Arts, professor. Collaborated with publishing houses; author of the satirical poster «We didn’t expect.
