Khutorskoy Boris Nikolaevich (1952-1999) - graphic artist, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1985, Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Moscow Region (1988). Boris Nikolaevich was born on December 15, 1952 in the village of Staraya Tolkovea, Penza Region. In 1973 he graduated from the Art School. K. A. Savitsky, in 1983 - the Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I.Surikov, studied under N.A.Ponomarev, B.A.Uspensky, A. B. Yakushin. The beginning of creative work since 1973.
The main technique of his art was only a pencil, he knew how to use the subtlest gradations of its color, as well as the free space of a sheet of paper, and therefore these black and white sheets are so expressive in color, so rich in nuances in stretching from white to black colors. Youthful comprehension of the surrounding reality sounded in the series of sheets «My Home», «My Homeland», where the theme of childhood was also sounded, but here the artist did not so much create his self-portraits as he narrated about fellow villagers, about the life and life of his fellow countrymen. In the graphic sheets of this series, the artist has risen to a high understanding of life through clearly selected details.
