Ivan Stepanovich Ivanov-Sakachev (1926–1985) was a Leningrad artist with a bright, recognizable style of painting characteristic of the Soviet seventies. He studied at the Krasnodar Art School (1950-1955), then at the Leningrad Academy of Arts (1956-1962) under A. Mylnikov. Since 1955, he has been a regular participant in art exhibitions. He taught at the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute (1966-1972).
