Komarov Alexander Alekseevich (1926) - graphic artist, Member of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR since 1970. Born on April 11, 1926 in the village of Shubino, Moscow Region. Member of the Great Patriotic War. In 1960 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute V.I.Surikov. For many years he has been working on the theme of Russian fairy tales. Interestingly and meaningfully, the artist solves the pages on themes from sports life.
Participant of exhibitions: all-Union exhibition of diploma works (1960), regional exhibition (1964), print exhibitions in Czechoslovakia and the German Democratic Republic (1965, 1966), autumn exhibition in Moscow (1966), N zonal art exhibition «In a single formation» (1967), jubilee regional exhibition (1967), «50 years of the Moscow organization of the Union of Soviet Artists» (1996). Major works: colored linocuts «Zaykin House», «Winter's Tale», «At Breakfast», «Seven kids», «Bayushki-baiu», «Turnip»; tempera «Builders», «Young girls», «Pigeons», «Song», «Concert». He was awarded medals «For Military Merit», «For Victory over Japan», «30 Years of the Soviet Army and Navy».
