Kozmina Tatyana Andreevna was born in 1963 in Leningrad. In 1988 she graduated from the Department of Graphics at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repina. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1991. Winner of the 1998 State Presidential Scholarship. In 2002, at the invitation of the Swedish Academy of Fine Arts (Stockholm) and a private printing workshop (Mölndal), she took part in a project to develop new graphic technologies. In 2006, she won the competition and was invited to an internship of lithographers at the Tamarind Institute (Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA).
Tatyana Kozmina specializes in author lithography, works in printing and other graphic techniques, is engaged in bookplate, copyright book, painting. She designed and illustrated more than ten books, among which «On the Celestial Hierarchy» by Dionisy Areopagit and «Musical Boethian» by E.V. Herzman. In 2003, the publishing house «Art of Russia» published the author’s book of the artist «Proverbs».
Tatyana is a participant in more than one hundred All-Russian, regional and foreign art exhibitions. She was awarded the Diploma of the International Bookplate Exhibition in Kiev (Ukraine, 1994), II Prize of the Contest of Naive Art in Quebec (Canada, 1998), Special thanks to the III International Bookplate Competition «Opera and Melodrama» in Bodio Lomnago (Italy, 2007). Personal exhibitions were held in 2001 in the museums of Novaya Ladoga, Staraya Ladoga, the Center for Books and Graphics (St. Petersburg), in 2007-2008 in the gallery «Do» (St. Petersburg).
The artist’s works are in the collection of the Academy of Arts of Russia (Moscow), the State Hermitage’s scientific library, the Russian National Library, the Staraya Ladoga Museum-Reserve, the Westernorrland Museum (Hernesand, Sweden), in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia, Europe, Canada and USA.
