Mordvinova Alevtina Evgenievna (1900-1980) - graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. She lived in Leningrad. She graduated from the Petrograd Academy of Arts in 1926. Student of K. Petrov-Vodkin, M. Dobuzhinsky, A. Karev. Since 1925, a member of the group «Masters of Analytical Art» (P. Filonov’s school). She worked in the Children's Department of the State Educational Institution (Leningrad) under the leadership of V. Lebedev. An artist whose life and work are part of the history of Russian culture of the 20th century. The most famous Mordvinova brought the work of wartime - valuable already due to the fact that they were created in extreme circumstances - in the besieged Leningrad.
