Snatkin Sergey Andreevich (1915-1987) - Soviet graphic artist, engaged in linocut, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1950). Sergei Andreevich was born in 1915 in Bialystok. In 1938 he graduated from the Kharkov Art School. In 1941 he graduated from the department of advanced training for artists at the Moscow Art Institute. The beginning of creative work in 1947. WWII veteran. From 1953 to 1963 - secretary of the graphics section, member of the board and presidium of the Moscow Branch of the Organization of Soviet Artists, member of the art council for graphics. He directed the studio of amateur artists in Elektrostal. Works are also in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Arkhangelsk Art Gallery, Novorossiysk City Museum, etc.
