Semyachkin Pavel Semenovich - painter, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1958. Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named V.I. Surikov in 1953, studied with G.G. Ryazhsky. Since 1950 - an exhibitor of Moscow exhibitions. He worked in the production workshops of the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy, created panels for the pavilions «Grain», «Siberia», «Veterinary Medicine» and «Zootechnics». A number of the artist's works are published in newspapers and magazines. Many of Semyachkin’s posters were published in mass editions, the most famous of which were «Glory to Soviet railway workers», «Builders! use local materials!», «Raise a bird!». He created genre works on virgin soil, on the themes of peace and happiness: «Mastering the Deserts of China», «At the Manege», «The Library Brought», «The Mail Brought». He taught at the Department of Painting and Drawing at the Moscow Pedagogical Institute V.I. Lenin.
