Gagarina Lidia Ivanovna (April 13 [26], 1902 (Saratov) - June 20, 1984 (Leningrad)) - painter, graphic artist. She studied at city art courses in Tsaritsyn (1920–1925), at the Leningrad Art and Industrial College (1928–1929), at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Architecture and Sculpture (1929–1933) at the Faculty of Painting under M. P. Bobyshov, A. D Goncharova, R. R. Frents. For the thesis on the script «The Front Continues» received the title of production designer.
She lived in Leningrad. She painted landscapes, portraits, thematic paintings; worked in the technique of tempera, was engaged in lithography.
Since 1925 - participant of exhibitions (Tsaritsyn). Member and exhibitor of the Academy of Arts of Revolutionary Russia - the Academy of Arts of Russia (1925–1929), the Leningrad Regional Union of Soviet Artists of the USSR. She exhibited her works at exhibitions: summer works of Leningrad artists (1934), works of Leningrad artists (1939, 1954, 1958, 1960, 1961), women artists of Leningrad (1941, 1960, 1961), a traveling exhibition of Soviet prints (1960), works Leningrad artists dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the victory in Nazi Germany (1972) and others. Held solo exhibitions in Leningrad (1963, 1967, 1969).
Creativity is presented at the State Russian Museum.
